Choose a public name
Keep your generated name if you like it. Each online player identity can choose a custom name once, including players who already share results. Your player ID, results, rankings, statistics and linked devices are kept. A failed request, cancellation or name conflict does not use your choice.
Use 3–40 characters: ASCII letters A–Z or a–z, digits 0–9 and single spaces between words or numbers. Do not start or end with a space, or use repeated spaces. Hyphens, emoji, punctuation and other alphabets are not supported. Names must be unique without regard to letter case. Names that suggest official Trio staff, administrators or system accounts are reserved.
Our community rules
Before publishing a custom name, confirm that you are 18 or older and accept these rules. Your name is public beside your shared results. Avoid real names or other private information.
No abuse, harassment, hate, discrimination, sexual content, threats, impersonation or attempts to disguise prohibited words. Names are checked before publication. If a name is rejected by mistake, contact support. Moderation may reset a name, restrict custom names or suspend sharing. A name reset does not remove scores and does not grant another custom-name choice.
Report something concerning
In rankings, double-tap or press and hold a player’s name to open the player actions, then choose a reporting reason. Reporting uses your online player identity; you do not need a custom name. Reports go privately to the administrator, and the reported player cannot see who sent them.
The app confirms when the service has received a report. If it cannot send one, try again after reconnecting or email trio@baltzer.eu. Duplicate reports about the same name version are combined, and there is a limit of 20 new reports per identity per day. Urgent concerns can always be emailed.
Hide a name or block a player
Hiding replaces one player's name with a stable, neutral Player alias while keeping their scores and ranks visible. Blocking removes that player's ranking entries and all public content from your view. Trio does not offer chat or direct messages. These are personal choices; they do not remove a player for everyone.
Use Settings → Names and community to show a hidden name or unblock a player. Choices work on this device while offline. If you use an online identity, they sync with linked devices when those devices reconnect. Changing a name or linking identities cannot bypass a block. Other players' numeric ranks may have gaps when blocked entries are removed.
How reports are reviewed
Reports are reviewed privately. We aim to review new reports within 48 hours; threats and serious safety concerns receive priority. Use trio@baltzer.eu to contact support or request review of a name restriction or sharing suspension. Include your player ID and the concern, and never send your authentication secret.
The administrator compares the reported name and version with the current profile before acting, records the reason and outcome, and can dismiss or resolve a report. Restoring sharing keeps existing scores. Restoring name privileges does not reset an already-used custom-name choice.
Report data and privacy
A report contains the target player's ID, the exact reported name and version, a selected reason, the time, and the reporter's player ID. No free-text report, email address or authentication secret is included. Personal hiding and blocking preferences contain player IDs and the selected choices.
A private email alert to the support mailbox includes the reported name and version, reason, time, target and report IDs, and current profile details. The reporter ID stays in the private service. Alert copies are kept for up to 90 days. In-app deletion does not automatically erase already-delivered email; contact trio@baltzer.eu to request earlier removal of an alert copy.
Reports and name/moderation history are kept for up to 90 days and are accessible only to the administrator. Deleting an online identity removes its associated reports and visibility preferences; ordinary deletion and security-retention details are described in the Privacy Policy. Names shown from saved rankings use neutral generated names until refreshed, so an old custom name is not brought back from a saved page.
Questions and help
Can I change my name again? Each identity has one successful custom-name choice. Linking identities keeps any spent choice and restrictions; it does not provide another choice. Failed requests do not spend it. After reviewing a support request, an administrator can grant one further name choice without changing your current name or scores.
Does hiding report someone? No. Hiding and blocking change your view. A report asks the administrator to review a name or player for everyone. You can use either or both. Contact trio@baltzer.eu if you need help or want to appeal a decision.
